Rila Mountains.. Again

Hello, Steemians! I will show you today one more great place in Rila Mountains, Bulgaria. :) This is my Rila related post number 26!

The starting point of this trek is Mechit Hut, the month is May, end point - Mechit Peak.

This day was great from the beginning because it started like this.

This is a hill above the bulgarian village Belchin that has breathtaking view towards Rila Mountains. We had arrived there late in the evening and it was dark, so waking up and seeing this view made it clear that it is going to be a beautiful day :)

So we left this place and take our trip to the Mountains.

The road to the hut starts from the Govedartsi village and I think walking would be a better idea. It is quite unpleasant road, more off-road actually but saved us at least 2 hours which we could spend higher in the Mountains.So we left the car near the hut and started our trek.

It is not a hard one, neither I can that this is one of my favorite places, but this particular day the mountains were stunning with the melting snow and these spectacular clouds!
I am a big fan of fog, clouds and rain. It is amazing how much they can change the outlook of every place.

This is Mechit peak in front of me(in the right part of the photo).

These panoramic views are spectacular.

I could spend hours here watching the changing landscapes (if it wasn’t so cold).

Overall it was about 4-5 hours super pleasant trek. Nothing hard or fancy here. I’ve been there one more time, and it was completely different. Like every trek in the mountains, but that day we had luck and received one of the gorgeous days :)
