Daily Nature Fix: Waterfall Photobomb. (Original Photos)
Hiya, folks. We've got an unexpected subject in the photos of tonight's Daily Nature Fix. During our trip to Iceland this past July, we were visiting Þingvellir National Park and I was taking a few photos of the cool looking waterfall known as Öxarárfoss.
^^^Öxarárfoss.
^^^A close up, notice some of that sweet blue water.
While we were snapping some photos with our camera and cellphones, a bit of movement at the top of the ledge caught my attention. Before long, something was looking down at us as we looked back.
It was a momma sheep and two lambs! I mean, it shouldn't have been that surprising as it was being that sheep are EVERYWHERE in Iceland. Still, myself and the crowd around the falls had quite a reaction to these little guys showing up.
^^^Some epic looking sheep.
It was a nice touch to our time in Þingvellir. We got some cool photos of the falls, but the sheep photobomb was a nice bonus.
