Peaceful Mountain : Most Beautiful attractive scenery of my travel @creativepks

It is the best one can get except some other exclusives like khagrhachharhi and rangamati. All of the three districts are in the hill tracts of bangladesh.The Nilgiri Mountains form part of the Western Ghats in western Tamil Nadu of Southern India.

Nilgiri, is the highest point one can reach though vehicle. Absolutely picturasque and one could stay over night up there. Motels, dorms and tent facilities are available. Prior reservation is needed.

The road to Nilgiri is sometimes bad till very bad but they are repairing it so let's hope for the best. The nature here is overwhelming although more and more hillsides are burnt down and give room to pineapple, mango and other agriculture. So slowly the jungle and real nature disappears and becomes cultivated land. The villages along the road are full of people who live in an authentic way and are strong, slender and pure. joy to see and very different from city people. Nilgiri is worth the trip and it makes you feel very relaxed.

It’s 48 km away from Bandarban city and 980 meters above from sea level. It’s possible to go by Open Jip (chander gari-local name), CNG and Bus. Recommended to go to early morning (before 5:30 am by chander gari is better to start) or better to stay night at Nilgiri Hill Resort (need early reservation). There is a office for Chander Gari, opposite of Hotel Hilton. The price for a package of Nilgiri, Chimbuk Hill and Shoilo Propat is 3200 bdt and 300 bdt for parking charge in Nilgiri (upto 1:00 pm). There is 11-12 seats in Chander Gari, you can share with others.

From Bandarban to Nilgiri is almost 2:50 hours journey. The Entry fee is 60 bdt per person. If you wanna go by Bus, you get the first Bus at 7:00 am and every hour there is one. For coming back the last Bus is at 5:00 pm. You won’t get too much food at Nilgiri without preorder, instant you can get rice, chicken roast, banana, papaya, water etc..

Until one years ago, I’d never heard of the Nilgiris myself.
