True definition of MEDICINE!!!!

This was my 3rd visit to Pisgah National Forest in N.C. but the first at the top of LOOKING GLASS MOUNTAIN!!! I go camping close by to get away from the routine of the rat race and re-center myself. This visit particularly was the best because of this scene at the mountain top. My first hike up this trail took about 2.5hrs. The heavy rains made it quite difficult but man O man was it well worth it.The rain began just about 30 mins into the hike and I could not contain an ear to ear smile along the way. It felt super cooling being soak in wet constantly pushing uphill to reach the top. I lunched at the top for about 15 mins until making my way downhill. I would definitely recommend any visitor to Pisgah National Forest not leave without heading up LOOKING GLASS MOUNTAIN!!!!
