SPRING: Where Has It Been? What Has It Been Doing? And... Is It Back?

in #nature7 years ago

Whilst out on a walk today we spotted these Snowdrops. Surely this indicates that Spring has finally returned, and with it the longer days and warmth that we have all been craving!

I was out walking with my local 'Stroll On' group, which a friend of mine set up a few years back. The walks are generally easy going, which makes them accessible for lots of people.

We were lucky enough to see this friendly Robin whilst out walking. By reducing the colour saturation around the bird, you can really see his colours Pop.

This next image was taken next to the Chatsworth House Hunting Tower, which was built in the 1570's.

OK. So maybe I am getting a bit ahead of myself, but I am looking forward to the changing of the seasons.

Doesn't spring come in like July here?

Everyday is spring with me my dear! :-) :-) xxx

Nice with snowdrops, sign of Spring

It's not spring yet dude
The tower does not looks like so old

@bilal9808 you're right in one way, it wasn't finished until 12 years later. 'This unique and fascinating building (Hunting Tower) was completed c.1582 for Bess of Hardwick, ancestress of the Dukes of Devonshire, to designs by the famous Elizabethan architect Robert Smythson.' I was surprised, it does look like it was built more recently!
