Need of an environmental management to the activities of exploitation of natural resources in Venezuela // Environmental education

There are many natural resources that are exploited in our country, and that in turn represent an activity with strategic sense, therefore the use of natural resources for the generation of energy is based, generation of energy that contaminates the environment, which is why it should continue to be exploited but with a rational sense that can only be monitored by a way of supervision given by an environmental management, the continuity given to this management requires conservation and adequate management of the natural resources that are being used to satisfy the energy needs of the Venezuelan.

Although it is true that the generation of energy has the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of the Venezuelan community, environmental and social works related to the use and management of resources also point to concrete benefits for the population as a whole. The immense wealth of natural resources offered by this portion of land in southern America (Venezuela), together with the complexity of life patterns, coupled with the growing development of economic interest along with ancient traditions of an exceptional land, constitute the variables that we must take into account all of us as citizens of this land in order to embark on the path towards sustainable development that is only provided by the management of environmental management.

From this moment of time we must understand that the success of all the factors involved in the use, management and exploitation of resources will depend on the healthy coexistence between all the actors that we meet in this beautiful country called Venezuela.

It is necessary to frame within the projects of exploitation of natural resources, programs that apply the conservation and rational use of the resources that nature provides us, part of the simple and natural equation of paying with ingenuity and generosity what is received, that is why that companies must act and respond through this equation.

All companies responsible for taking advantage of natural resources, whether they are hydrocarbons, water resources, wood, coal, among others, must have a sense of social responsibility that emerges from their relevance as the main actors of the country's socioeconomic development.

Another duty as necessary as having to care for and preserve our resources, lies in the fact of having to generate environmental, social, cultural and research programs, with the aim of enriching the national heritage in terms of natural resources and tourist beauty it concerns us.

In previous years, where oil Venezuela was in full swing, there was no talk of the need for environmental management applied to such activities, however as the years passed along with the development of other exploitation activities, we saw ourselves in the need to look towards other horizons, where it has had to evolve towards an environmental management applied to this type of activities, always supported in the training of professionals as graduates in environmental management, applying technology, mainly oriented to the collection and analysis of basic environmental information .

To be able to diagnose if any exploitation activity is generating a negative environmental impact, it is necessary that we carry out modern measurement studies and use simulation models of environmental variables, in order to reach higher prediction levels in the predictions of certain variables on which Energy generation and transmission activities are supported.

For these times, where the Venezuelan population demands energy like any other nation in the world, it is necessary to pose challenges, which must be assumed from a sector of Venezuelan society, such as the energy sector, where There is a sustained effort on the part of companies and citizens in general, so that in this way we can specify the application of environmental management standards as a cross-cutting process in all activities involving the management and exploitation of natural resources, for its Subsequent transformation into other forms of energy.
