Spectacular Hike and View from Table Mountain | See where president Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years

We went hiking Table Mountain today ! It is one of the 7 Wonders of Nature in the world and has a challenging 3km hike to the top ! Talking about being on top of the world !!

The mountain gets its name from the flat "table shaped" top where you can walk around, have a picnic, visit the souvernier shop and capturing photos of the breath taking view.

If you don't like hiking, you can take the cable car up and down - this is only a 5minute ride vs our 2hour hike up :)

From the top of the mountain you can also see Lion's Head, which is almost just as popular hike and tourist attraction as Table Mountain.

The island you can see from there is called Robben Island - this is where our former president Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years after fighting for freedom. After being released he became president from 1994-1999.

If you ever visit Cape Town, Table Mountain is definately something that should be on your bucket list !
