SEPASANG BURUNG KICAU ATAU 'BEURUJUK' ISTILAH ACEH SELALU TENGGER SETIAP SORE

Selalu setia setiap sore hari sepasang burung Cerukcuk atau Burung Beurujuk dalam sebutan orang Aceh,Indonesia pasti hinggap di atas pohon di samping pekarangan rumah. Pada dasarnya burung Cerukcuk adalah sejenis burung kicau dari golongan burung Cica, cucak, cerukcuk atau Cerucuk mungkin juga Cerocokan atau selalu mengikuti khas suaranya sendiri Yelloe-vented Bulbul.

Burung Beurujuk memiliki ukuran sedang sekitar dua puluhan senti meter panjangnya. Memiliki bulu mahkota gelap kehitaman yang sedikit memiliki kuning bulu dadanya. Disamping itu memiliki alis sekitar mata putih dengan memiliki garis mata depan hitam menyolok
serta mempunyai sisi atau tubuh berwarna coklat.

Kebiasaan burung Beurujuk menyenangi alam terbuka bebas dengan sedikit pepohonan rimbun dan tidak terlalu padat pemukiman warga sehingga lebih menyenangi semak belukar, tepi jalan dan kuburan umum, perkebunan serta hutan kecil. Biasanya burung ini pasti terbang dan hinggap sepasang setia, bahkan saat mencari makanan maupun bertengger indah, bahkan tidurnya pun diatas rantingan kayu bersama kelompok setianya.

Burung Beurujuk sangat menyukai makan serangga dan buah-buahan lunak dan segar seperti buah pisang masak, buah pepaya masak sampai buah keulayu hitam yang masak. Disamping itu burung ini suka juga memakang ulat, cangkrik dan belalang, bahkan burung tersebut juga sering menghabiskan waktunya untuk mencari makan diatas tanah.

Dari hasil pengkajian sementara ini bahwa Burung Beurujuk dari Aceh, Indonesia lebih banyak memakan buah Ara, biji-bijian lada liar dan jenis serangga dan nyamuk, cacing tanah, buah cerry, sambil mengeluarkan bunyi nyaring dan sedikit berisik "cok,cok,cok" dengan mengeluarkan siulan pendek dan cepat.

Sementara untuk mendukung dua telurnya burung Beurujuk ini menyusun sarangnya dalam bentuk cawan bulat dan kokoh yang dibuat di semak-semak di tepi lahan warga dan tidak jauh diatas tanah. Biasanya sarangnya terbuat dari anyaman daun rumput serta tumbuhan, tangkai atau ranting kecil yang dibaluti dengan serpihan rumput yang lebar dan daun bambu bahkan sering menggunakan potongan kertas dan plastik sesuai bahan yang tersedia di lingkungannya. Dan uniknya sarang burung Beurujuk dibangun oleh burung jantan dan burung betina secara bersama-sama sampai selesai kira-kira hampir seminggu. Ada pun jumlah telurnya biasanya hanya dua yang berwarna keputihan berbintik coklat atau ungu. Burung Beurujuk ini saya dapati di Aceh, Sumatera, Indonesia yang hanya terbang sekitar 1000 meter diatas permukaan tanah.

CHURCH BIRDS OR 'BEURUJUK' IN ACEH LANGUAGE EVERYDAY

Always faithful every afternoon a pair of Cerukcuk birds or Beurujuk birds in the designation of the people of Aceh, Indonesia must perch on a tree next to the yard of the house. Basically the Cerukcuk bird is a type of birds chirping from the Cica bird group, cucak, niche or Cerucuk may also match or always follow the distinctive voice of its own Yelloe-vented Bulbul.

Beurujuk bird has a size of about twenty centimeters in length. Has dark black crown feathers which have a slight yellow chest hair. Besides that, it has eyebrows around white eyes with a striking black front eye line
and has a brown side or body.

Beurujuk bird's habit of enjoying the outdoors with a few lush trees and not too dense residential settlements so that it prefers shrubs, roadside and public graves, plantations and small forests. Usually these birds must fly and perched a loyal pair, even when looking for food or perched beautifully, even sleeping on a wooden table with a loyal group.

Beurujuk birds really like to eat insects and soft and fresh fruits such as ripe bananas, ripe papaya fruit and ripe black fruit. Besides that, this bird likes to turn back caterpillars, crickets and grasshoppers, and even these birds often spend their time looking for food on the ground.

From the results of this preliminary assessment that Beurujuk from Aceh, Indonesia consumes more figs, grains of wild pepper and types of insects and mosquitoes, earthworms, cerry fruit, while making a loud and slightly noisy "cok, cok, cok" with let out short and quick whistles.

Meanwhile, to support its two eggs, the Beurujuk bird arranges its nests in the form of round and sturdy bowls made in bushes at the edge of the residents' land and not far above the ground. Usually the nest is made of woven grass leaves and plants, stems or small twigs covered with large grass chips and bamboo leaves and often uses pieces of paper and plastic according to the materials available in the environment. And the unique Beurujuk bird's nest was built by male and female birds together until it was finished in almost a week. There is also the number of eggs are usually only two that are colored brown or purple vaginal discharge. I found this Beurujuk bird in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia, which only flies about 1000 meters above ground level.
