The Jacobin Pigeon is an Asiatic breed of domestic fancy pigeon developed through many years of selective breeding. It originates from India. Jacobins, along with some varieties of domesticated pigeons, are all descendants of the feral or wild rock pigeon (Columba livia).
This breed is known for its feathered hood over its head.
