That is a real step to choose off grid life, that definitely changes your mind, your priorities, it is healthier then life in a city. If you can allow yourself to do that this is great. Many people we depend on our work, our children are in schools, so it is like a circle, sometimes I think once we retire we will move somewhere on land with own Vegetable garden, some chicken so that you have eggs and just help the people neighbors around you, like you help them they help you.
