Nature - a freewrite on life
Nature has a way of working in an it ebb and flow... Take large rivers for instance, the kind of canals dug out by nature that are large enough for whales to use as trade routes. Now when the river is first formed, either by a season passing or for the first time, it's void of life. A newly constructed house no one has moved into yet.
Some of the first to discover the new body of fresh water are possibly birds, reptiles, whales,... fun fact about birds, they swallow caviar, because it's delicious, now this roe, the raw eggs of fish.. they have shells, a small percentage of which survive the digestive system of birds, some of which (1 in 600 according to YouTube videos and Google) survive the entire process to know a life where they don't recall being in the belly of the beast. Minnows and other fish move in.. whales come thru making life hard for the minnows, because they taste good. After a time, the weather changes, and the whales know it's time to move on, both because their bodies are getting colder & older, we all know it's far more fun to mate in warm waters, and the foods getting thinner. As the whales depart, the smaller fish come out of hiding, breed some more, then bears come along and eat them, because they also happened to be travelling along a weather system path that said go this way, something inside of them. Some fish lose out, but they keep breeding and laying eggs of their own, far outweighing the bears and birds who are passing by again.
Eventually most move on, the baby fish grow into old fish.. and die. But they left behind a legacy and started, well, nothing really, but they lived!!!
Now think about this whole nature lesson in steem terms... Whales, minnows, birds that watch and stir things up, bears that do their culling.... Oh, there are bulls in the fields at times, because plants love to grow near water, but they are peaceful loving characters in this story, the lawn mowers and what not,... things the fish can feel, but don't really have anyway of knowing what or where they are.. unlike the bears, who hurt and sting... Love is nice, hate can be forever.. but again, everything dies in the end.
Everything is connected, life is but a glimpse into the cycle.
Namaste.
