It's good she's getting better. Ever thought of trying magic mushrooms on her? They are proven to restore and create new neural connections which might help...

That sounds fascinating! Mushrooms are amazing. But there's no way my mum would take any kind of drug, however natural, unless prescribed by a doctor!
Yeah, older people are very rigid in that sense. Still, with all the latest research it might be possible to find a doctor willing to prescribe them. Check out the site of the documentary A New Understanding: The Science of Psylocibin. Maybe you can give something out there :)
