Good afternoon appreciated Steemian community, especially my friends from @naturalmedicine, today I want to present students of the Bolivarian School "Las Catanas" sharing their experiences during the development of their learning projects, our children more Little children in the initial stage expressed their knowledge about the usefulness of different medicinal plants that are found in our community and that are used regularly by their relatives, friends, neighbors and grandparents.

In the Bolivarian School Las Catanas the children of the initial stage recognize the importance of natural medicine and of the different plants found in the community, being the plants a healthy alternative that we can know to treat and fight any type of affections in our health, and so we can get away from the dependence on various drugs, pills and antibiotics that turn out to be harmful. Then this beautiful project was presented by our children once again in the closing of projects of the school circuit.

The stage of talks the beginning the girl HELEN ROJAS, she spoke of the "LIBERTADORA", the liberator (kalanchoe pinnata) is a plant that the villagers use to cure the earaches, the inflammation, protect the kidneys and cure the cough . With these leaves infusions are prepared and also their leaf can be consumed in salads.

Then continued the student ISABELLA CARABALLO, the girl spoke of the plant "ALTAMISA" (ambrosia peruviana), the plant mist used to cure pains, vomiting, dizziness, and also bone decalcification, rheumatism, arthritis among others. Its roots and leaves are used to prepare infusions.

Continued in the order of exposure AlBEIRYS AMARISTA, the student made references to the plant of "PAZOTE", the pazote (Dysphania ambrosioides) its leaf is used in the community to reduce inflammation of the stomach, relieve colic, fight intestinal parasites, insect bites and skin irritations. With these leaves are prepared poultices that are applied to the skin, also infusions, and prepare various meals and salads.

Continuing ALFREIDIS ROJAS students, she told us about the "LLANTEN" whose scientific name is (Plantago major or lanceolata), this plant is excellent because it has antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties, in the community this plant is used to treat all types of respiratory diseases, stomach pains, and ulcers. It is prepared in infusions that are administered orally. She also identified the letters of our alphabet.

In this wonderful presentation of the medicinal plants of the community of the Catanas had its participation, the child DANIEL LOZADA the talk of the plant of FREGOSA (Capraria biflora), ornamental and medicinal plant that is of great importance for the inhabitants of Las Catanas, since it is a plant used to cure stomach pains, intestinal parasites, refriados, menstrual pains and is used as an antibiotic. With it they prepare tea or infusions.

Participation of the exhibition cycle of the child ERICK AREVALO, he told us about the medicinal plant OREGANO well known for its uses as a seasoning for meals and also for its medicinal properties, he said that this plant is used to cure asthma and kidneys, also is used to cure various respiratory diseases, fevers, oregano oil is used especially to fight mucus, this plant uses its leaves to prepare tea and infusions, like oregano oil.

To close the cycle of the presentation on the medicinal plants of the community of Las Catanas, the participation of the girl Wendy Alcazare, she told us about the "VERDOLAGA" or (Portulaca oleracea), this plant considered undergrowth serves to lower the fever, improves the circulatory and cardiovascular system, fights urine infections, constipation, fights fever, and is a great antioxidant and an antiseptic. With it they prepare infusions, also used in salads and meals.
