Well, kombucha is an acquired taste, and I like kefir myself. Kind of dicey on buttermilk, but I do drink some.
Bottom line is any fermented food is helpful to our GI tract! Stay healthy....

If you blend buttermilk with figs, you get a tasty smoothie. I found this out when making a Christmas cake.
There is a drink in Mexico that is made from fermented agave. It is called Pulque and is quite tasty.
I'll try that, I'm not offended by buttermilk; just never searched it out, but the fig would be a good add!
I've heard good things about agave juice, I guess I need to find some....
