Is National Socialism/Fascism all that bad?
The line you hear often from commies is that "Communism has never been really tried." The thing about that statement is that it has, multiple times, and it has never worked. The soviet union collapsed, all south american shitholes are in a state of being poor and starving, China and Vietnam are capitalist, with a one-party "socialist" government. So, it's been tried, and it doesn't work.
Now, you may ask why I bring this up. My reason for why I brought that up, is I have a similar statement. "National socialism and Fascism have never been tried for long enough."
This statement is true because the truth is that no country has had it implemented long enough to see what actually would come of it. When Hitler became the Fuhrer of the Third Reich, many changes were made. He pulled the country out of massive debt. He gave many people new jobs. Education was more common. Generally, it was a good thing to be a German at the time. All German peoples had a strong sense of unity and brotherhood. Sure, the Jews were rounded up and put in internment camps, but there's not much solid proof that they were killed because the Germans actually wanted them dead.
Things were going great for the Germans. They were taking back land that was theirs. They did make the mistake of splitting Poland, however. Anyway, world war 2 happened, and Germany was split in two, and even smaller then it was post world war 1. Because it was, and still is an occupied country, they had a new government installed, and thus, the dream died with it.
All I'm saying, is that things could've been better if ww2 never happened, and natsoc could've been tried.
✅ @grezgov, let me be the first to welcome you to Steemit! Congratulations on making your first post!
I gave you a $.02 vote!
Would you be so kind as to follow me back in return?
as a german I find this really offending. National Socialism was the very worst Germany experienced so far and it cannot lead to something different than war because people in "natsoc" will see themselves as superior and eventually hate every other culture. Also, the USSR war Socialistic, not Communistic. The difference is best described in Karl Marx' "Das Kapital".
