NATO = GANG MENTALITY

NATO emboldens nation members to do things they would not ordinarily do. That is how gangs work. And as we know, gang infested neighborhoods are usually not peaceful neighborhoods. Think about the situation on the Korean peninsula. South Korea is emboldened by having the protection of America. Therefore they can take actions which North Korea may perceive as threatening. In return North Korea makes more aggressive displays of its military capabilities as a deterrent. So in that area of the world there are missiles flying all over the place and constant military drills. Tensions are very high and one mistake or miscommunication can spiral into an all out war. Does that make the region more safe?

Now there is a situation where NATO is trying to offer membership to the Ukraine. NATO has already placed large amounts of weapons and troops on Russia's border. Right before leaving office Obama sent about 4,000 American troops and 2500 vehicles to Europe to confront "Russian Aggression", the most since the cold war. Ukranian membership into NATO is seen as serious threat to Russia and Putin is pretty much drawing a line in the sand.

I remember seeing Arizona Senator John McCain in the Ukraine encouraging protesters to overthrow the Ukrainian government and telling them America will support them. I thought a senator represented the people of his state in the US congress. Why was McCain interfering in the internal politics of another sovereign nation. I doubt there are many Arizonans with interests in the Ukraine.

Ukraine has been a client state to Russia for many years and many Ukrainians actually self identify as & speak Russian. I have noticed that America causes huge problems around the world then blames other countries. America armed Syrian rebels and created a civil war then blamed Russia and Syria. America and others destroyed Iraq and now are blaming ISIS and Iran. American and others bombed and destroyed Libya and is blaming terrorists. And now America has supported regime change in Ukraine and are now attempting to bring it into NATO. This will further destabilize this part of the world and we are blaming "Russian Aggression". This all goes back to the gang mentality. Gangs arm groups of men and strong arm people and that is also what the US does via NATO. The EU wanted Ukraine to use its Euro debt instead of Russian debt so through NATO they strong armed that nation. They removed the leader and installed a leader who subscribe to EU debt. If that is not a gang like tactic, then I don't know what is.

There will never be peace on earth as long as there is so much profit in war. Our interventions in other nations' affairs does not bring peace. Countries should be responsible for defending themselves and the profit must be taken out of war. There should be an enforceable global rule which prevents countries from using force against other countries unless they are attacked by that country. As I look at the globe it is getting more and more difficult to find places where there are no conflicts. We need more peace on Earth.
