What is NASA hiding?
A long time ago, NASA wondered: “So, what do you think is where there are no stars?”
To answer this, they directed the Hubble telescope to a point in the night sky, where nothing was visible. No stars, no galaxies, nothing. At that time, it was believed that there really was nothing. Maybe one or two galaxies dimly shone far away, so far that none of the available methods could catch their light fading from a distance.
But instead of the image of darkness and emptiness (the majority believed that it would turn out that way), Hubble conveyed IT.
This is what is around us. Choose any point in the night sky between two stars and with a sufficient approximation you will see exactly this - galaxies, thousands of galaxies, down to infinity.
Each spot of light in this image is a new galaxy consisting of billions of stars.
And when Hubble looked there for the first time, we thought it was empty.
This is not the night sky. This is what is behind the stars. This is what is behind, near and between each star in the night sky. Galaxies stretching to infinity, incalculable.
Connect your thumb and forefinger in a circle, and you will have a small hole through which to look. Now stretch your hand to the sky and look through it. This image will fit just in the hole between your fingers.
Now move your hand over it at night and remember this image with every movement.
This is what we discovered that day when this image was made.
