Moving out and finding with my sister

It is finally the time for my sister and I to move out of this hut. I would very much be thankful towards Mr and Mrs Jill for five years of raising us to the day we are in now. I packed my bag and thought about all the amazing things they have done to Kate and I, and they don’t even deserve to be left without anyone to care for them.

“Have you got finished packing? I think it is time that we drive you to your new apartment,” Mr Jill said with his braid smile next to his tears. I couldn’t help but to hug him for the first discreeted time. Kate is going to be staying with them for one more year, because she is one year younger than I am, next year when she is nineteen she will be able to move out.

“I am so grateful for five whole years of caring you have done to us. I know I can’t do much right now, but this is all I have left of me,” I told them before I gave both Mr and Mrs Jill a final hug. Kate was still studying for her exams that she will be doing next year. So I didn’t want to make this any longer and distract her. So I just took my bag and my huge trunk suitcase.

As I left and hopped into the car, I took one last glance at the house they raised me since I was thirteen. “Kasandra, listen to me. Be safe because this is a tough world with no one but yourself to resist,” Mrs Jill shouted with water running down her eyes. “I know what I will need to do to release the village and for us,” I said.

I glanced at the house once more, my bedroom where I used to do everything there. My sister Kate’s who was studying there. The guests room where my Grandmother in law used to visit my sister and I, before she past away two years ago. The thought made my breast and heart stiffen. I stopped looking around anymore, trying not to let that thought cut me.

But it was already too late. I had to go before they call for me and ask for support. “Goodbye family in law and thank you for raising me with tender love until the day I am now,” I thought before leaving the doors.
