Today I wish to open a topic on Narcissistic Abuse

This is mainly for those who have been victims of such anti-social personalities under the pretext of Love, Affection, Care etc.

Narcissistic abuse is the cruelest act towards humanity. Theoretically there is tonnes of information available on the internet for this topic. However, in this attempt, I would like people to share their experiences and talk about it. Also this is to let people know that they are not alone. There are millions of people around the world who have been abused, hurt and shattered which has affected their day to day life. I want to give them listening ear, support and understanding that will help them fight this out and start living their life happily.

Narcissistic abuse is often disguised as love and care, but it’s most cruelest attack on humanity by one individual to another. And the saddest part is it comes from a person whom the victim has trusted beyond limits, given his / her all without bothering about any consequences.

It’s not a single incident like an insult or verbal abuse using bad words or just a fight between two humans. It’s gradual and intentional erosion of a person’s sense of self-worth. It’s a combination of emotional and psychological abuse aimed at undermining a person’s identity for the sole purpose of obtaining control for individual selfish motives often termed as dirty games being played emotionally with sugar coated words and actions.

It can involve patterns of manipulation, emotional coercion, dishonesty, extreme selfishness, guilt mongering, financial abuse, extreme jealousy etc.

Most of the people who have been victims of such abuse are often left alone, feeling worthless, hopeless, rejected, replaced and taken advantage of and finally dumped.

This is my sincere attempt for people to come forward and share their stories, relieve themselves and crawl out with baby steps, re-build their life and realize that it's not the end of the world. It's not at all their fault for loving a narcissist, it's normal. Instead in a long run it's the other way round. It's the loss of the cruel, selfish narcissist who could not see the beauty of the relationship for the want of temporary, materialistic temptations! It's the narcissist who is abnormal vampire who damages the humanity.

Let's come forward and let's bring back the real love of our lives by loving ourselves! Let everyone know that we are all together!
