Green(er) Beauty Black Friday/Cyber Deals

in #nailpolish8 years ago (edited)

If you are anything like me, the price points on green beauty items might have made you hesitant to buy. Do I really want to spend $10USD on a single nail polish? The answer is (for me anyways), no, not usually. Black Friday, Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday are all great ways to try out those products you've really wanted to try but just haven't wanted to spend so much money on. This is a great way for you to ditch a great majority of toxins and yucky chemicals without going broke!

These are the top deals I've come across this week. I will also be including the things I am thinking of purchasing and the things I would definitely recommend, since I have bought from some of these companies before.

1. Zoya's Black Friday Sale (only on 11/25/2016)

Zoya is a 5-free nail polish company. Their 300+ different nail polish colors often go for $10 on their website. They come out with several nail polish collections a year, including a selection of matte colors, ultra-glittery collections, and even neutral collections. During their Black Friday Sale, the nail polishes will be cut down 70% as well as their new vegan lipstick range and their manicure-perfecting systems (and everything else!), using the coupon code YAY. This deal lasts only a day, so I recommend preselecting the polishes and items you want now so you are prepared for when the clock strikes midnight! Some of the polishes I am looking at buying is the chunky sparkle red Blaze, the make-any-color-glittery Alicia, and the Zoya Armor Top Coat. I currently have the colors Prim, Laney, and several limited edition polishes that were a gift with purchase a few years ago. Prim is probably my favorite of the bunch. It is like a medium, stormy-sea blue silvery  color. I've never seen any nail polish look quite like it. Unfortunately, this deal requires you pay shipping that is around $7, but to me, I think it's worth it considering the bargain at hand! Be sure to check out their Image Gallery section to get a "real-life" feel for the colors before buying.

2. 100% Pure's Cyber Week (until 11/29/2016)

100% Pure specializes is fruit-pigmented cosmetics that are totally vegan and a hundred percent natural (minus their 10-free nail polish range). This deal requires that you spend $35USD to "unlock" special $10 deals on cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and nail polish. They include free shipping and free returns, if you happen to not like something you bought. If you haven't been sure about trying them out due to the mid-range prices, now would be the perfect chance to check them out. Some of the ten-dollar deals include Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara  - Black Tea, Cherry Honey Facial Scrub, and BB Cream available in 3 different shades. I would definitely recommend checking out their gluten-free Maracuja Mascara in the shade Black Tea. I use this on my lashes almost everyday. It feels practically weightless, makes lashes appear longer, and adds a bit of volume as well. It also smells like fruit. (Hey, all you Lipsmackers lovers, now you have a mascara to match!) I've also noticed that the mascara doesn't run off after being saturated in water, like in the shower. I find it is best removed with olive oil, so it definitely has great staying power imo.

3. The All Natural Face's Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale (through 11/23/2016 to 11/28/2016 midnight)

This company is totally vegan with no talc and no bismuth oxychloride here! TANF is already known for their inexpensiveness, so a deal on top of their already low prices is like shopping at a green-beauty dollar store. They are offering 20% off their entire website. No code required for this sale. They also have 51 shades of foundation. I have been using their Vegan Oily Lid Eyeshadow Primer in Buff before I apply any eye makeup. I've had the pot since April, I believe, and I am not even halfway through it, even after using it three or four times a week every week. I find it really helps the eyeshadow look more pigmented and it helps it adhere to my eyelid better. I also really like their Plum Honey Eyeshadow. It's one of my favorite eyeshadows. It is a plummy neutral purple color without being overbearing in the purple department. I highly recommend it, especially if you are wanting to try darker neutral colors.

4. Root's 6 Days of Savings (11/23/2016 to 11/28/2016)

Root is a fairly new (t0 me) green beauty company but probably one of the most quickly expanding green beauty businesses. They offer heaps of pressed color cosmetics for those of us who prefer pressed over loose powder, skincare, a decent selection of lip colors, and yes, even toothpaste for those who prefer a more natural toothpaste. If a product doesn't end of working for you, Root will offer a refund as well. If that ain't customer service! I also will mention that I have yet to try any of their products personally but am definitely considering buying an entire palette during their sale. Also, here is an affiliate link that gives you an additional 10% code when you spend over $25USD on the days that don't have a code to unlock certain deals. Root's deals are so many that I am simply going to list the sale posters below for easy and quick viewing.

^ FYI, this day's deals are stackable!
