JUST OVERLOOK IT

"I will instruct you to do things and you prefer to be sluggish about, you must be a bastard!!"

Those were the words of my Dad to younger brother this morning on our way out of the house to Church, this Sabbath(Saturday) morning.

My younger brother face was wet in tears has the last words of the statement hit him. Bastard??, he was so angry with himself, actually, I watched the whole scenario myself but I just smile and later laughed when I saw my brother tears. I even called him a ridiculous fellow, laughing stock per say.

As we got to church, I called him aside and said, because your personality was attacked doesn't means that's the end of the world, in fact it's a step forward to make you stronger for critiques.

Many times, we have failed to overlook little obstructions rather than focus on the obstacles that comes to our goals. Many are busy protecting their personalities so has to avoid being criticized instead of wasting your time arguing, why not wave it off.

Shamefully, most times we let go, but am telling you now that you should focus on what you believe you would be rather than what people think of you. Because in essence, what you finally become to people is what you believe you would be and that's the true personality of it all.

Someone called you a failure, prove them wrong, don't battle words, instead talk back with actions. Immediately you react to what people say about you, you are proving them right, you give them a chance to poke more accusing fingers on telling what you actually not. Be strong enough not to show any signs of reaction to what doesn't matter much as long as you are getting much closer to your goals.

So has you go on in 2019, people will say many things about you, don't waste your time crying, talking back, fighting for your personality, instead overlook them, these actions of others should serve has a motivation to make you better. Thanks for reading.
