MyPictureDay Submission - Rest in Montenegro
Hi, my dear steemit friends...
This is my entry for #mypictureday Challenge Round #20 by @timsaid.
I want to share with you my travel to Montenegro last summer in a few places.
Budva, Bečići is the most popular resorts in the country
Of all the resorts of them, I like the most. A great city with great beaches, nice architecture, beautiful Old City along the fortress wall and the St. Nicholas Island right in the bay.
Kotor is an ancient city in the middle of a bay with very warm water
Kotor is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Montenegro. He is even called Little Venice, as it reminds of Italy.
Of course there are no channels in Kotor, but there is a huge fortress wall (the second largest in the world after the Great Chinese) and narrow medieval streets, paved with stone, which wash several times a day.
St. Stephen's (Sveti Stefan) Island is an elite resort for the rich people
Getting to the island itself is not easy - you need to be a very wealthy person. There are basically celebrities there and millionaires there.
Excursion to the canyons of Montenegro - the most important in the country
If you already arrived in Montenegro, you must go for a canyon tour. In 14 hours you will see fantastic mountain scenery and panoramas, along the canyons of the Tara and Morache rivers
This all pictures taken with Sony Xperia Z5
