Tree House Cafe & Restaurant: The Perfect Place to Spend Friday Night [MyPictureDay Submission]
"Tree House Cafe & Restaurant: The Perfect Place to Spend Friday Night"
So we spent the Friday night chillin’ at a nearby café and restaurant. I am not promoting the place, but man, the place is awesome! Actually, I’ve been here for so many times before, but I was really surprised by the changes!
Honestly, it was never my plan to blog this, but I just can’t help myself. Luckily I brought with me my phone. So I took some photos as soon as we arrived at the place! The damn the place is just so good man. Plus the ambiance is really great! Really perfect for chillin’!
By the way I was with my steemian friends, @strawhatkimbao and @glyphzero. Kim a.k.a. @strawhatkimbao is my roommate and he has been in the platform the moment I joined steemit although he hasn’t introduced his self.
On the other hand, John (@glyphzero) is already active in the platform. You can visit his blog if you want to read his posts.
For us Filipinos, alcoholic beverages are best partnered with pulutan. Well I don not know of other’s opinion but pulutans do really helped me to survive in a long run (inuman). Inuman is a Filipino word which literally means “to drink alcoholic beverages”.
So we ordered local beer and some pulutan. Anyway, a pulutan is a food partnered with alcoholic beverages. Red horse beer is famous for being one of the strongest beers in the country. Man, the “red horse” will really kick you off and knock you out cold.
Our pulutans were crackling bones and fried pig face. Crackling bones are deep fried backbones and ribs of chicken coated with crispy fries. Fried pig face is literally chopped pig face which is deep fried. Both were really high in cholesterol, but man, it’s just for one night LOL!
Above is a photo of the crackling bones I took, (of course for blogging purposes). HAHA! It kinda have salty flavor but a strong seasoned vinegar is provided to neutralize this.
The above photo was the fried pig’s face. It looked like a chopped pig's small/large intestines (ilogon) but it was actually pig's face haha! I was expecting a sisig-like dish and I was kinda disappointed with this. Haha! However, it really taste good!
So we talked about random stuffs and then I took photos of the surrounding views. I apologize for this noob photography so I'm asking you to bear with me.
That's all guys! Thank you for reading my post about my Friday Night! By the way, if you happen to visit Iligan City, you can contact me in discord or you can comment in any of my posts and I will surely hang out with you!
I used my iPhone 6S plus in taking all these images. Stay tuned for more interesting posts!
