Therefore, students from all over Indonesia join their one mission, which is to take action on Indonesian Democracy - Reform of Indonesian leadership towards an honest and prosperous country together - citizens will love peace | 2024 - Stop Jokowi.

Jakarta | Indonesia with a democratic state since its independence era in 1945, Ir. Soekarno served as the first President of Indonesia, since then he has built this democratic law which regulates the state and nation which greatly provides peace and prosperity for the nation.

However, in recent days the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia has announced a change to the democratic law, so this is what makes or invites students throughout Indonesia to hold demonstrations or reforms in front of the State Palace.

The 1945 state law states that the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia only allows 2 periods with a length of 5 years in 1 period - the rights and powers as head of state means President. And now the state palace has begun to venture to undermine the long-standing law.

Thousands of Students Will Demonstration at the State Palace on April 11, Claims to Have Sent a Letter to the Police

Jakarta | The All-Indonesian Student Executive Board Alliance (BEM SI) claims that it has sent a notification letter to the police regarding the action plan at the State Palace, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Monday (11 April 2022).

Media Coordinator of BEM SI, Luthfi Yufrizal, said that the notice of the action was sent to the Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda).

Lutfhi said that there would be approximately 1, 000 protesters from various campuses in Indonesia who took to the streets.

He straightened the narrative on social media about posters with the words "STM Moves" or "Until Jokowi Comes Down". Lutfhi confirmed that the narration was not from BEM SI.

"Not from us," said Lutfhi.

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya admitted that they had not received a letter requesting the action plan.

"Until now, Polda Metro has not received any requests for public opinion activities by any group," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, when confirmed, Friday.

According to Zulpan, the organizers of the demonstration must first apply for a permit to the police at least 3×24 hours before the event.

"In accordance with Law Number 9 of 1998. However, until now we have not received the application for public opinion," said Zulpan.

Broadly speaking, there are six points of demands submitted by BEM SI.

First, to urge and demand President Joko Widodo to take a firm stand against and give a statement of attitude towards the postponement of the 2024 election or a three-term term because it clearly betrays the state constitution.

Second, demanding and urging Jokowi to postpone and review the State Capital Law (UU IKN), including the problematic articles and the impacts from environmental, legal, social, ecological, political, economic and disaster aspects.

Third, urging and demanding that Jokowi stabilize prices and maintain the availability of basic commodities in the community and resolve other food security problems.

Fourth, urge and demand that Jokowi thoroughly investigate the cooking oil mafia and evaluate the performance of the relevant ministers.

Fifth, urge and demand that Jokowi resolve the agrarian conflict in Indonesia.

Sixth, the last demand : demanding and urging Jokowi-Maruf Amin to be fully committed to completing their campaign promises in the remaining terms of office.
