From the rest of the team we are truly grateful for the support that we got.

The support that we receive is truly astounding, like never in our wildest imagination that it will be a success. We then realized that it is really innate for us to help, however, some of us doesn't know how to do it.

For this update I (@tpkidkai) will discuss the following :

• The total amount that we received so far since we started the project and the amount that we already sent out the scholar.

• News and updates from the team.

After officially launching our project and posting the bio of Myke, in a span of a few hours we already received a donation coming from one of our friends and then other steemit accounts sent their donation with the said project. Some are from the mini contest that @tagalogtrail is hosting entitled #tagalogserye.

So far, the total funds that we received are the following:

A week ago we already gave Myke his first stipend which is for the amount of P 1,000 thus leaving us the following amount available for disposal at the end of the month.

Please do note that in the meantime, I will only include the amount that can be liquidated and the STEEM POWER that we got isn't included (but will be converted immediately if necessary)

Given the current price of STEEM and SBD roughly we have $50+ available to be shared with the recipient of the project. As of the moment we have 4 students in the lineup of the program and in the next post, we will be sharing another one. For general accounting purposes, we decided that we are going to liquidate the SBD and STEEM at the end of each month and the first week of the month after, we will be distributing the stipends to them. Myke, on the other hand, is an exemption since the rules are not yet been fully implemented nor discussed.

The Alternative Lifestyle Show - Friday Guesting

This coming Saturday PH time around 6 AM to 8 AM our very own @chinitacharmer will have an interview with the founder of @adollaraday, @pennsif. The schedule will be on the 2nd hour of the show, around 7 AM PH time. With regards to the coverage of the topic, it is about the projects that are being supported by @adollaraday, we in the team are so honored that we are chosen to be a part of the show's line up and somehow excited and nervous because we never did have this kind of opportunity, nor never thought of having an opportunity like this.

Will we be opening another slot for another scholar?

We do want to bless other students as much as we can however, we need to make sure that we are capable of supporting them until the program ends for this school year. The priority of the project is the first 4 students and until we have a spare of at least 50% of $200.00 which is $100.00 we will not be opening any slot in the meantime. The reason why we need to make sure that the goal for the 4 students are met already and we have a spare of at least $100.00 to open another scholarship is because the project is relatively new and we need to make sure that we have an ample time to solicit some buffer funds to push through with the student's scholarship.
