Fried Rattlesnake

fried rattler.JPG This is one of the rattlesnakes I fried for my husband, I salt and peppered it, floured and fry. He loved it, I also fried the heart. What not to do with a rattlesnake or any other snake is put it in a roast, my husband wanted me to cook one in a roast and the entire crock pot was full of bones, made me sick just looking at it.

Sort:

I haven't eaten snake myself. How much of a hassle is it to de-bone the critter by means other than crock pot disintegration?

I don't think you can debone it before cooking, to me it seems like eating fish with bones you have to eat around the bones

Cold-blooded. Scaly. No legs. Pick the bones out as you eat them. Does this mean we should rename snakes as "land-fish," or fish as "stubby swimmy-fin-snakes?"

rename the snake I do not like the thought of catching something called stubby swimmy fin-snakes, lol

@myjob, I gave you a vote!
If you follow me, I will also follow you in return!

I am following you, geez I sound like a stalker, lol

The voice of experience here. Don't bother following bots, and it isn't the number of followers that matters so much as the engagement of human beings.

thank you, I thought they were a good thing??

People who comment, upvote, and/or resteem your content are a good thing. Spambots and accounts that ask you to pay for their "resteeming services" are garbage. You're not likely to find worthwhile content by following them either, because they aren't usually there to selectively curate for quality.

Again I thank you, I will eventually get it figured out. Still not sure about the voting process and steem power but I post for my fun.
