Bitter False Funnelcap Mushroom
Described as being found with conifer needles at its base, as well as all the descriptive features that would indicate the correct identification of this specimen!
I won’t be taste testing this one though, as the book I have says it could be a bad idea, and I just know that in general.
But I do believe to have positively identified the specimen as a Bitter False Funnelcap Mushroom.

I had mushrooms on my pizza over the weekend that looked like this...No wonder they gave me discount! :)
Aww man that sounds.. interesting.. but probably gave you a discount because you a cool dude ha!
But soon I will have some shiitake shrooms to chew on!
Oh yeah, that's EXACTLY why I got the discount...Or, it was yesterday's food and they wanted to get rid of it!
Mushrooms are awesome things man. I eat a lot of them Admittedly I don't eat the poisonous ones as previously stated though...Well, not as far as I am aware...But I do sometimes have some strange waking-thoughts after eating certain types... :)
ahhhh I know what ya mean by those "waking thoughts"..
