The Legend of Momotaro ( ဂႏၲ၀င္ သူရဲေကာင္းေလး မိုမိုတာေရာ) part 2(အပို္င္း ၂)

His parents were nervous but Momotaro was a
stubborn boy and there were no ways to change his mind.
His mother gave him a big bag of her delicious spinach dumplings.
"Eat these when you are hungry," she told him, as
she kissed him on the forehead. Momotaro took the dumplings
from his mother and waved goodbye.
(သူ႕မိဘေတြကေတာ့ ေတာ္ေတာ္ထိန္႕လန္႕ စိုးရိမ္သြားေပမယ့္ မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ ေခါင္းမာတဲ့ေကာင္ေလးတစ္ေယာက္ျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္
သူ႕စိတ္ကိုေျပာင္းဖို႕ နည္းလမ္းေတြမရိွေတာ့ပါဘူး။သူ႕အေမဟာ သူ႕ကို အရသာရိွလွတဲ့ ဟင္းရြက္အႏုဖက္အရြက္သုပ္ အိတ္တစ္အိတ္
ေပးတယ္။"သားဆာတဲ့အခ်ိန္....ဒါေတြကိုစားပါ။" လို႕ သူ႕နဖူးကိုနမ္းရင္ ေျပာခဲ့တယ္။မိ္ုမိုတာေရာဟာ သူ႕အေမဆီကေန
ဟင္းရြက္အႏုဖက္ရြက္သုပ္ေတြကို ယူခဲ့ပီး ႏႈတ္ဆက္ခဲ့တယ္။)

While Momotaro was walking along the path towards 

the sea, he came across a dog. The dog was able to smell that Momotaro had some tasty food.
"Would you like to share some of your spinach dumplings with me,please?” asked the dog.
Momotaro was a willing boy and gave the dog a dumpling.Then, dog gulped it down cheerfully.
The dog offered to carry Momotaro's bag for a few moments, and so, both of them could walk along the path
towards the sea.
(မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ ပင္လယ္ဆီကုိ လမ္းတစ္ေလွ်ာက္ျဖတ္ေလွ်ာက္တုန္း ေခြးတစ္ေကာင္ကိုျဖတ္ေက်ာ္လာခဲ့တယ္။
ေခြးဟာ မိုမိုတာေရာ အရသာရိွတဲ့အစားေတြကို အနံ႕ခံနိုင္တဲ့အတြက္ "ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကို သင့္ရဲ႕ ဟင္းရြက္အႏုဖက္ရြက္သုပ္ေတြကို
ေ၀မွ်ေပးလို႕မရဘူးလား။" လို႕ ေခြးကေမးတယ္။ မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ သေဘာေကာင္းတဲ့ေကာင္ေလးျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ ဟင္းရြက္
အႏုဖက္ရြက္သုုပ္တစ္ထုပ္ကို ေခြးကိုေပးတယ္။အဲ့ေနာက္ ေခြးက ဟင္းရြက္အႏုဖက္သုပ္ကို ေပ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္ရြင္ရြင္နဲ႕ မ်ိဳ
ခ်ခဲ့တယ္။ေခြးဟာ မိုမိုတာေရာရဲ႕ အိတ္ကို အခ်ိန္အနည္းငယ္ေလာက္ သယ္ေပးဖို႕ ကမ္းလွမ္းခဲ့တယ္၊ေနာက္ သူတို႕ႏွစ္ေယာက္လံုးဟာ
ပင္လယ္ဆီကို ေလွ်ာက္နုိင္ခပ္ခပ္ျမန္ျမန္ေလွ်ာက္နိုင္တာေပါ့။

On the journey, Momotaro and the dog had to climb a hill 

pass on their way. As they were near the top of the mountain, they met a monkey.
The very smart monkey knew there was some food in the bag that the dog was carrying.
"Would you like to please share some of your food with me?” asked the monkey.
Momotaro gave the monkey a dumpling.Then,he gladly chewed it on.
The monkey made a decision to join Momotaro and the dog on their way to Devil’s Island.
(လမ္းခရီးမွာ မိုမိုတာေရာနဲ႕ေခြးဟာ သူတို႕လမ္းေပၚမွာရိွတဲ့ ေတာင္ကုန္းကို တက္ခဲ့ရတယ္။အဲ့ေတာင္ကုန္းထိ္ပ္နားမွာ
သူတို႕ရိွလို႕ သူတို႕ဟာ ေမ်ာက္တစ္ေကာင္ကိုေတြ႕ခဲ့တယ္။အရမ္းပါးနပ္တဲ့ေမ်ာက္ဟာ ေခြးသယ္လာတဲ့အိတ္ထဲမွာ
အစားအစာတခ်ိဳ႕ရိွတယ္ဆိုတာသိတယ္။"ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကို သင့္အစားအစာေလး ေ၀မွ်ေပးလို႕ရမလားဗ်ာ။"လို႕ေမ်ာက္ကေမးတယ္။
မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ ေမ်ာက္ကို ဟင္းရြက္အႏုဖက္ရြက္သုပ္ကုိေပးတယ္။အဲ့ေနာက္ ေမ်ာက္က အဲ့ဒါကို ေပ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္ရြင္ရြင္နဲ႕၀ါးစားခဲ့တယ္။
ေမ်ာက္ဟာ မိစာၧာ ကၽြန္းဆီကို မိုမိုတာေရာနဲ႕ ေခြးတို႕နဲ႕အတူ ခရီးသြားဖို႕ဆံုးျဖတ္ခဲ့တယ္။)

After Momotaro, the dog and the monkey had stepped

down the mountain, they stopped to rest as they were tired, and there,
they saw a gorgeous pheasant flying above them.Soon, the bird landed on a nearby tree, and
could see that Momotaro had some tasty food."Would you like to please share some of your dumplings with me?"
asked the pheasant.Momotaro gave the bird one of his dumplings.
Then, he pecked it at with glee.After eating the dumpling,
the three asked the pheasant if he would like to join them in their journey.

မၾကာမီ,ငွက္ဟာ နီးစပ္ရာအပင္တစ္ပင္ဆီကိုနားခဲ့၊ေနာက္ မိုမိုတာေရာမွာ အရသာရိွလွတဲ့ အစာေတြရိွတယ္ဆိုတာေတြ႕ခဲ့တယ္။
"ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကို သင့္ဟင္းရြက္ႏုဖက္သုပ္ေတြထဲက တခ်ိဳ႕ ေ၀မွ်ေပးလို႕ရနိုင္မလားဗ်ာ" လို႕ရစ္ငွက္က ေမးခဲ့တယ္။မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ
သူ႕ ဟင္းရြက္ႏုဖက္ရြက္သုုပ္ေတြထဲက တစ္ထုပ္ကုိ ရစ္ငွက္ကို ေပးခဲ့တယ္။အဲ့ေနာက္ အားရပါးရနဲ႕ ငွက္ကေလးဟာ ႏႈတ္သီးနဲ႕
ထိုးစားခဲ့တယ္။ဖက္ထုပ္ကို စားပီးေနာက္ သံုးေယာက္သားဟာ ရစ္ငွက္ကို သူတို႕နဲ႕အတူ ခရီးအတူလိုက္ပါဖို႕ ေမးခဲ့တယ္။အဲ့ေနာက္
ရစ္ငွက္လိုက္ပါခဲ့တယ္။)

At last, Momotaro and his friends arrived at the 

shore of the sea. From the beach, they could see Devil's
Island. It looked like a frightful place and there was no guarantee
how he was going to make it across the water.
But, luckily, a fisherman was mending his nets and
gave his boat to Momotaro to go to the island.
(ေနာက္ဆံုးမွာ မိုမိုတာေရာနဲ႕သူ႕သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြဟာ ပင္လယ္ကမ္းစပ္နားကိုေရာက္လာခဲ့တယ္။
ကမ္းေျခကေန သူတို႕ဟာ မိစာၧာ ကၽြန္းကိုလွမ္းျမင္ရတယ္။ အဲ့ကၽြန္းဟာ ေၾကာက္မက္ဖြယ္ေကာင္းတဲ့
ေနရာတစ္ေနရာပံုေပါက္ပီး၊ မိုမိုတာေရာ ပင္လယ္ကို ျဖတ္ကူးနိုင္တယ္ဆိုတာ အာမခံခ်က္ မရိွပါ။
ဒါေပမဲ့....ကံေကာင္းေထာက္မစြာျဖင့္....တံငါသည္ဟာ သူ႕ပိုက္ေတြကိုျပင္ေနတယ္။ကၽြန္းဆီကိုသြားဖို႕ သူ႕ေလွကို မိုမိုတာေရာ
ကိုေပးခဲ့တယ္။

The seas were very tough and windy, but they had 

made it across and landed on the island. As they
were near the castle high on the cliffs, they could see the demons above.
(ပင္လယ္ေတြဟာ အလြန္ၾကမ္းတမ္းပီးေလထန္လြန္းတယ္ေပမယ့္ သူတို႕ ျဖတ္ေက်ာ္နိုင္ပီး
ကၽြန္းေပၚမွာ ေျခခ်နိုင္ခဲ့တယ္။ကမ္းပါးေပၚက ျမင့္မားတဲ့ ရဲတိုက္အနားမွာရိွလို႕ သူတို႕ဟာ
မေကာင္းဆိုး၀ါး ဘီလူးေတြကို သူတို႕အေပၚကေနျမင္ရတယ္။)

The castle walls were very high and massive. Momotaro 

pushed and pulled on the doors as strong as he could,
but they did not move. Then, he had an idea. He
gave the monkey and pheasant each spinach
dumpling. Then, the pheasant carried the monkey up
and flew above the wall of the castle with him. Inside the wall,
the smart monkey unlocked and opened the giant doors for Momotaro without trouble.

တစ္ထုပ္စီေပးတယ္။အဲ့ေနာက္ ရစ္ငွက္ဟာ ေမ်ာက္ကိုသယ္လာနိုင္ခဲ့ပီး သူ႕နဲ႕အတူနံရံကိုျဖတ္ေက်ာ္ႏိုင္ခဲ့တယ္။နံ႕ရံရဲတိုက္ထဲမွာ
ပါးနပ္တဲ့ေမ်ာက္ဟာ မိုမိုတာေရာအတြက္ ျပႆနာတစ္စံုရာတစ္မရိွဘဲ ၾကီမားလွတဲ့တံခါးေတြကို ျဖဳတ္ပီးဖြင့္ေပးနိုင္ခဲ့တယ္။)

When the whole team entered the castle, they suddenly heard the demons' booming voices …

"MOMOTAROOOO! How dare you enter our castle! We will snap you and eat you!"
But Momotaro was not frightened. Before the demons could snap him, he ate some spinach dumplings
and instantly had the strength equal to a hundred men. He also gave the dog,
the monkey and the pheasant dumplings and they started to fight the demons.

ဒါေပမဲ့ မိုမိုတာေရာဟာ မေၾကာက္ပါဘူး။မေကာင္းဆိုး၀ါးေတြ သူ႕ကို ဖမ္းမမိခင္ သူဟာ ဟင္းရြက္ႏုအရြက္သုပ္ေတြကိုစားပီး
ခ်က္ခ်င္း လူအေယာက္တရာစာနဲ႕ ညီမွ်တဲ့ ခြန္အားဗလကိုရခဲ့တယ္။သူဟာ ေခြး၊ေမ်ာက္၊ရစ္ငွက္ တို႕ကို ဟင္းရြက္သုပ္ေတြကို
ေကၽြးပီး။သူတို႕ မေကာင္းဆိုး၀ါးေတြကို စတိုက္ခဲ့တယ္။

The dog husked and  one of the demons on 

the leg, while the monkey jumped on second demon's head and scratched his eyes.
The pheasant flew and pecked nose of third demon.
The demons were could not match the strength of
Momotaro and his friends and they finally gave up.
(ေခြးက ဘီလူးေတြထဲကတစ္ေကာင္ကို ေျခေထာက္ကို ကိုက္တယ္။ ေမ်ာက္ကေတာ့ ဒုတိယဘီလူး ရဲ႕ေခါင္းကို ခုန္ပီး မ်က္လံုးေတြ
ကို ကုတ္ျခစ္ခဲ့တယ္။ရစ္ငွက္ကေတာ့ ပ်ံပီး တတိယဘီလူးရဲ႕ ႏွာေခါင္းကို ဆိတ္တယ္။ဘီလူးေတြက မိုမိုတာေရာနဲ႕ သူ႕ငယ္ခ်င္းေတြကို
ခြန္အားဗလ မယွဥ္ႏိုင္ခဲ့ပါ။ေနာက္ဆံုးေတာ့ သူတို႕ အရူံးေပးခဲ့တယ္။

"Oh please, Momotaro," they wep, "Please spare us!We gave you a promise we'll do good things

from now on.” "Well," said Momotaro, "but you must return all of the treasure you stole from our land."
The demons agreed and loaded a small mountain of cash and gem onto a big cart .
Momotaro and his friends pulled the cart onto the boat and returned to the village and gave treasure stolen
to their land.
("အို မိုမိုတာေရာရယ္...."သူတို႕ငိုေျပာခဲ့တယ္။"ေက်ုးဇူးၿပဳပီး ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕ကို အသက္ခ်မ္းသာေပးပါ။အခုခ်ိန္ကစလို႕ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႕
ေကာင္းမႈကုသိုလ္ေတြကိုလုပ္ပါမယ့္။"ေကာင္းပီး"လို႕ မိုမိုတာေရာ ေျပာတယ္။"ဒါေပမဲ့ မင္းတို႕ေတြ ငါတို႕တိုင္းၿပည္ကေနခိုးထားသမွ်
ရတနာေတြအားလံုးကို ျပန္ေပးရမယ္။ဘီလူးေတြက သေဘာတူပီး ေတာင္ငယ္တစာရိွတဲ့ ေငြသား၊ရတနာေတြ ကိုး လွည္းၾကီးေပၚကို
တင္ခဲ့တယ္။မိုမိုတာေရာနဲ႕ သူ႕ငယ္ခ်င္းေတြဟာ လွည္းကို ေလွငယ္ဆီကုိဆြဲတင္ခဲ့ပီး ရြာကိုျပန္ခဲ့၊ေနာက္ အခိုးခဲ့ရတဲ့ရတနာေတြကို
သူတို႕ တိုင္းၿပည္ကိုျပန္ေပးခဲ့တယ္။

Momotaro began gave the treasure to the poor people. 

The Emperor passing by saw Momotaro giving out the gold to people.
Because of Momotaro's kindness, the Emperor asked Momotaro
to marry his daughter, the princess. Momotaro agreed, and soon after, he, the dog, the monkey, the bird and
his parents moved to the Emperor's palace to live happily ever after.
