Extraordinary Kid

Hey all...
I just want to commend this kid for an outstanding achievement.

His name is Liam Christopher Titus and he was born on 24/03/ 2006

I illegally adopted him from his mom at the age of almost 2yrs. He was born 5 years after his mom and I divorced.

He was displaced so many times because of her instability. Anyway I formed a bond with him and along with my daughter Chelsea we lived on our own without any support from anyone, family included. Of course there was interest shown here and there but nothing more. Long story short after countless fights and threats between his mom and I she decided to take him from me last year and oved him to another schoo, far away. I thought that maybe it would be good for him to be with is mom finally so that they could forge a relationship. As sad as it was I had to let go of him and in a way it forced her to become a mother. Our daughter chelsea had also been raised by me for most of her young life. Needless to say its quite hard for a guy to raise a teenage girl. But we did it by GOds Grace.

He had been satying with his mom for just about 2 weeks when she suffered a massive stroke and died. He wsa once again displaced and his aunt offered to take him and raise him. We agreed and he had no choice but to go and live with them. Another sad moment for me but I had to let it be. More issues arose as he had severe learning and concentration problems. His new family made all the effort and along with my support we worked hard to give hi stability. He is quite an avid footballer and I had to priviledge of coaching him at our local club Strandfontein Football Club...fondly known as The Seagulls as we live about 5 mins from the coast.

Nonetheless he has come a long way since. He has passed to Grade 5 and is doing excellently.
I will be seeing much more of him now as its the holiday season and school is closed.

He turns 12 in 2018. He couldnt make me prouder to be called his dad. He is my boy and nothing will ever change that.
