My Bangladesh

Khulna University has a history behind this sculpture. This history was created through a liberation war. It shows that some freedom fighters, they are fighting on the shoulders with the shoulders. Today, we have got an independent state because all the professional people of Bangladesh fought against the invading forces on one day. The Bengalis will never forget their contribution. Because of them we got an independent state. This independent state did not come in the same way. In 1971, they took away the independence by junking the jiban with 9 years of bloody bloody war.

In their memory, it is a beautiful sculpture among many sculptures. Its architect Gopal Chandra Pal He showed a lot of great designs in his design. The scene of the horrific killings of the Pakistani army is around the base, on one side, on December 16, the scene of surrender of AK Khan Niazi of Pak army to Jagjit Singh Arora. On the other side are pictures of four national leaders who were killed in prison.

Many people come here to visit and remember the great freedom fighters. I go around here sometimes and take pictures. Lots of space. It is possible to spend some time sitting in the stairs here in the afternoon. The location is very popular due to the trees and beautiful scenery of Chirki.
