What is Islam, but a path divinely portrayed between God and man, between man and God. Yet the true definition of Islam is something beyond what we commonly see in the world today.
Islam means submission to God. But does humanity truly submit to God? No, quite simply we can't, not unless we submit to a prophet that is alive and present to guide us today. Though we ask also, is that prophet who is a presumptive divine guide, also a being who is infallible? The chosen few may try to do their best, but as Yeshua said, "All fall short of the grace of God". Prophets are no exception to this.
True Muslims practice their faith under the pretense in the value of striving towards attaining Islam in their life, but it is an ever uphill and never ending path that cannot be otherwise contextually defined. Islam is beautiful, but we can only know it by coming closer to God, and not always reliant on what man limits us to comprehend.
