If you don't succeed, who will?

There's a story of four men-lepers. Those days, it was an abomination for lepers to dwell in the midst of clean people, so they were cast out, and became people living at the mercy of those that went in or out of the city.

Beseigement was a very common war tactic for capturing a city I.e the enemy cuts every access to food, medical, water and other supplies.They had money but could not buy anything, it got to a point mothers ate their children for survival!! These lepers were hopeless because there was a beseigement on the city. So they said to themselves, 'if we sit down here, we'll die of hunger, it we go into the city, we'll be chased out(since lepers had no business with clean people), let's go to the camp of the enemy, maybe, just maybe they'll spare us and if we die, we won't die of hunger'.

Friend, I know the tides are against you, everything seems to be going south, your life seems to fall apart, expectations are not met, the flicker of hope you once had is fading away, those promises made are taking forever to come to fulfilment, dreams and aspirations about to ebb away like life leaving a body, don't sit back and watch it slip through your fingers, if you fail, fail because failure was the only option, not because you couldn't succeed. If you don't succeed, who will?

Your limitations should not limit your advancement in life.
