Avril Lavigne (Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley) born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, September 27, 1984, Avril Lavigne, is a Canadian pop-punk singer, musician and actress. Avril's ability to sing has been known since she was 2 years old, when her mother said that Avril has started to sing spiritual songs in church. The Avril family moved to Napanee when she was 5 years old. In 1998, Avril won a singing competition on the official Canadian singer tour, Shania Twain. Avril sings Shania's song What Made You Say That.

When Avril's at age 16, she is enrolled by Ken Krongard, an artist and journalist, representative of record company Arista. Ken invites Antonio "L.A." Reid to listen to Avril's song in Peter Zizzo's recording studio in New York. Furthermore Avril completes her first album contract, Let Go.

Avril's first album, Let Go, was released on June 4, 2002 in the United States, occupying the 2nd position there, and ranked 1st in Australia, Canada, Britain and some other countries, with singles track "Complicated", "Sk8er Boi" , "I'm With You", and "Losing Grip". The album was very successful and sold over 17 million worldwide, 7 million of which were sold in the US.


In 2004, on May 25, Avril released her second album titled "Under My Skin" with hits singles songs "Do not Tell Me", "My Happy Ending", "Nobody's Home," He Wasn't "and" Fall to Pieces." this album follows in the lead of Let Go, sold 12 million worldwide and sold 4 million in the US Avril's third album, "The Best Damn Thing" was released on April 17, 2007. This album is quite surprising, as Avril changed its singing style which previously was very thick with rock and dark colors, became more cheerful and pink. The album has hits singles songs "Girlfriend", "When You're Gone", "Hot", and "The Best Damn Thing". also has several times to fill the movie soundtrack, including Eragon film with the single "Keep Holding On" and the latest, Alice in Wonderland with a single titled "Alice". 

Avril appeared in her first feature film Over the Hedge as a voice actor, which is based on a comic book titled the same. she works closely with William Shatner, Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Wnda Sykes, Nick Nolte and Steve Carrel. she also acted in Richard Gere's The Flock, as the lover of a criminal, and his third project was Fast Food Nation, based on his favorite book. Avril made a stone inscribed in Going The Distance and also appeared in an episode of the movie Sabrina , The Teenage Witch, featuring the song "Sk8er Boi" with his band.  

In January 2003, issue of Seventeen magazine, Avril admits "I was always snagging a bit of Matt's cheeseburger everynow and again". Also said in an interview afterwards, she said she didn't eat meat, but did not say he was vegetarian, a time someone could be meet him eating meat. 

As a teenager she usually plays at La Pizzera Restaurant in Napanee, Ontario. In the My Skin Bonez Tour Documentary Unser, she says pizza with olive topping is her favorite food, although she does not usually eat it too much, because pizza can ruin his voice. Since she's famous and popular in the music world, the restaurant provides a pizza with the name Avril which is Avril's favorite pizza type, and there is a guest book for fans to be selected by Avril when she visits relatives and friends in the city where she grew up, Napanee.

Avril has a star tattoo on her left wrist which is one of the styles used for her first album. The tattoo was made simultaneously with the tattoo of Ben Moddy, Avril's friend who is a former band member Evanescence. At the end of 2004, Avril had a small heart-shaped tattoo with an accent marked 'D' on her right wrist, and was a testament to her lover Derick Whibley. Avril and her husband have bought a house for $ 9.5 million at Bel-Air, which houses the relics of the previous couple, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakle. The house has 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a work space, elevators, a high-class kitchen, and a garage for 10 cars.

Avril was rumored to have a special relationship with former guitarist Jesse Colburn, but dismissed the rumor, and explained that she has nothing to do with 'friends' with him or with other band members such as Evan Taubenfeld or anyone else. Even so, Evan Taubenfeld still thinks that Avril is her best friend all the time and world wide, as she says in the official "Q & A" band's official web page. In J-14 magazine, Avril tells of her first kiss happened when she was 14 years old.


In 2004, there was news that Avril and Hillary Duff had a big fight. 

"I read that I was supossedly mad at my fans for dresssing like me" Avril said in the Quoted weekly newspaper. "They quoted Hillary Duff saying 'Avril needs to appreciate her fans and blah, blah, blah.' I'm like, excuse me? First off, it's not even true. girl ".  I never said that, and second, who the hell cares what she has to say about my fans? Whatever, Hillary Duff such a goody-goody, such a mommy's girl".

Recently reported there was a dramatic between the two of them at the Maxim party in New York, with a complicated incident upon their arrival due to an undesirable escape. Avril spoke very roughly, jumped violently and forced the party organizers to leave the place.  

In February 2004, she began a special relationship with Canadian singer Deryck Whibley, who was the lead singer / pop punk guitarist of the band Sum 41. On June 27, 2005, Avril and Deryck made a romantic trip to Venice, Italy. The couple married in a Catholic church with a religious wedding ceremony, witnessed by about 110 invited guests on July 15, 2006, on a private land in California coastal city of Montecito. When asked if they are ready to be descended, 

they say "not right now but somewhere down the road". But it turns out now their relationship is not eternal anymore, it is due to the affair that occurred between Deryck with Hilton. Avril also sued for divorce. 

Avril Lavigne held a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 4, 2005. She also held a concert in Kyoto, Japan at the beginning of 2007. At that time she promoted her new song Girlfriend and When You're Gone which was ranked 1st in Best Download and ranked 3rd Oricon Chart in Japan. 

In 2006, Canadian Business Magazine positioned it in the 7th position of the most admirable Canadian woman in Hollywood, and in 2007 she won 9 Jabra Music Contest nominations for Best Band In The World category, based on fan choice worldwide.

Now, Lavigne has released 3 studio albums Let Go (2002) which sold over 19 million worldwide with 9 million in the US, Under My Skin (2004) which sold over 12 million worldwide and 4 million in the US , and The Best Damn Thing (2007) which sold over 9 million and 2.5 million in the US. Lavigne has also produced eight international singles, including Complicated, Sk8er Boi, I'm with You, Gone "and" What The Hell ". Lavigne also filled the soundtrack for Alice in Wonderland with a song called "Alice". He has sold record albums and singles of approximately 45 million around the world.
