Hey, Steemians! Let's discuss some plugins. Let's start with some Waves plugins.

  1. SSL channel strip:

It's emulated after the legendary SSL console. I use this plugin a lot for mixing. The EQ is the thing I use the most. It gives you a specific tone that I like very much. The high mids on the vocals and acoustic guitars become more pronounced when you boost around 3.5-5kHz. The Gate and Expander help reduce the unwanted bleed.

  2. Kramer Tape:

It's a pretty decent Tape emulator developed by waves in association with Eddie Kramer. It brings richness and warmth to your sound. It can be used for recording as well but I use it while mixing. It says Master Tape on the plugin but I also use it on individual channels to get that Rich tone of that specific audio. It provides comprehensive control over the contours of your sound. It also has adjustable tape speed, bias, flux, wow & flutter, and noise parameters that could come in handy sometimes.

  3. H-Delay:

The 'H' stands for Hybrid. Hybrid because it has a filter as well and a analog knob that letsyou choose between 4 Analog sound Modes. Modulation depth and rate can also be changed. It has tap tempo to set the delay rate manually. you can reverse the phase of audio signal coming in and that too sperately on left and right if the signal is stereo. GOSH! so much for a delay plugin. Hence it's one of my favourite plugin.

Well, that's something about some waves plugins from my side. I'll continue in next blog. Comment your views, share the knowledge, upvote if you like it and do check out my other blogs too.

Thank You.
