Sound Engineering and Music Production blog #16

Hello Steemians! I'm back. I was on a short holiday for the HOLI festival. Alright, let's get started. So today I'm gonna discuss a new DAW: Harrison Mixbus.

I chose this one because it is an exceptional DAW. I like mixing in this DAW. The tools that this DAW provides are truly exceptional and you just have to tweak the knobs and you're good to go.

This is how the main window looks. You can make groups, color them as you like. On the left side, you can see the channel strip of the selected channel. Compressor and EQ are already there on the channel strip.

That's the mixer window which looks like the Harrison Console. The special thing which this DAW offers is the Drive knob on the auxes. It gives you the analog feel or warmth in the sound. Also, the famous Harrison EQ is inbuilt in this DAW. As I said earlier, you just have to tweak and you're ready to go.
I love the color this DAW adds to your mix. Some warmth is added and suddenly your track becomes a song.
