Was ist denn nun Hard Trance?

Ich bin mehr als interessiert die elektronische Musik hier in der Community weiter zu bedienen bzw zu pushen, mit oder ohne Hivemind - dank der beiden einzigen richtigen Music Celebs hier @andyjaypowell und @mikenero haben wir hier aus deutscher Sicht absolute top Produzenten und DJs - heute sollte jeder von Euch, der Trance mag einen Post mit dem Tag MondayTrance posten, um dem lieben Andy zu zeigen, dass wir seine Initiative extrem schätzen. In letzter Zeit kommen hier ständig Begriffs-Nazis auf den Plan, die immer meinen uns erzählen zu wollen welches Genre was ist und wie verblödet wir doch sind (also ich zumindest), dass ich Banane poste in den falschen Genres - sowas nervt! Musik ist Musik und dieses Schubladen Denken kotzt mich an - daher hier die Definition zu meinem heutigen Motto - Hard Trance - wenn Wikipedia nicht Recht hat, wer dann :-).

Hard Trance bezeichnet eine „härtere“ und (oft) schnellere Unterart des Musikstils Trance mit Einflüssen aus Hardcore Techno und des Öfteren auch Acid Techno. Der härtere Eindruck entsteht durch eine dominierendere Bassline und aggressiveren Melodie-Elementen sowie einer anderen Wahl der Töne (Instrumente) z. B. 303-Acid-Lines (dann zum Teil eng verwandt mit Acid Trance) und häufigeren Einsatz von Verzerrer-Effekten (Hoover Sound). Obwohl beim Hard Trance härtere Klänge und mechanische Rhythmen zum Einsatz kommen, kann Hard Trance im Gegensatz zu Progressive Trance und Tech-Trance zu den melodie-orientierten Trance-Stilen gezählt werden.

Hard Trance erlebte in den Jahren 1992 bis 2002 seine Höchstform, so dass einige Titel nicht nur in den Clubs und auf Raves, sondern auch in den Verkaufscharts erfolgreich waren. In seiner Gründerzeit noch um 145–160 BPM schnell, pendelte sich der Tempobereich später bei 140 Schlägen pro Minute ein. In letzter Zeit ist Hard Trance stärker mit Tech-Trance verschmolzen und gewann durch Tracks wie „Scot Project – W5 (Waiting For)“ (aus dem Jahre 2016) so wieder an Popularität.

Did I mention I like a lot different music genres and I am not a fan of limiting posts of any Steemian - music is to build bridges - music should not be discussed in an aggressive way - have fun, enjoy and speed the love.

Hard trance is a subgenre of trance music that originated in Western Europe (Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands) in the early 1990s as the breakbeat hardcore production community began to diversify into new and different styles of electronic music, all influenced by hard house, happy hardcore and jungle. The popularity of hard trance peaked during the late 1990s, and has since then faded in scope of newer forms of trance.

Hard trance is often characterized by strong, hard (or even downpitch) kicks, fully resonant basses and an increased amount of reverberation applied to the main beat. Melodies vary from 140 to 180 in tempo, and can feature plain instrumental sound in early compositions, with the latter ones tending to implement side-chaining techniques of progressive on digital synthesisers.

Hard trance was the final form of progressive to hit the mainstream. It eventually morphed into hardstyle, jumpstyle and gabber. Although hard trance is still made and listened to by many people, its social appeal has undoubtedly waned considerably since the mid-2000s.

I do have a different opinion on the last sentence above but we have to agree as Wikipedia is rights always.
