Upcoming Album Releases - Metal and Rock
Hello Steemians,
I thought it's time for another overview of upcoming album releases in the metal and rock scene. Sometimes it's hard to remember every new single and release dates, so maybe this will be a helpful post for you too! :)
Of course, these aren't all upcoming albums, that would be around 10 per week. It's only a collection of albums I'm waiting for. If I miss something important, let me know in the comments!
Korpiklaani - "KULKIJA" out September 7th 2018
The Finn Korpiklaani are going to release their 10th studio album on Friday! As always we can look forward to awesome melodies with the known raw voice of singer Jonne Järvelä. Beside the song I pinned above they also released 3 other songs: Aallon alla, the ballad Harmaja and Henkselipoika.
Monster Truck - "True Rockers" out September 14th 2018
The Canadian blues rocker Monster Truck already released a single that sounds more like hard rock and the other one (Evolution) sounds softer... a little like Nickelback or Shinedown. Somehow, it doesn't sound like two songs from the same album but let's see how the rest will be. Maybe the song Evolution has its name for a reason.
The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats - "Green Blood" out September 28th 2018
Irish folk rock from Germany? Trust me The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats know what they are doing. Give it a listen, they are way to unknown!
Sunflower Dead - "COMA" out 19th October
The new song of the American alternative metal band Sunflower Dead has a touch of Disturbed and Korn. Really excited about the rest of the new album!

The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats - 28th September
Behemoth - 5th October

Great post. How can you put out such good stuff and then disappear?
Strangely enough, I do not get enough enjoyment out of a song when I cannot understand the lyrics.The Finnish band is pretty hot though. Monster Truck to my mind are moderate .... did not strike a chord with me. (Pun intended) .... Sunflower Dead, sound like hundreds of other heavy metal bands but still very listenable.

Earlier Korpiklaani had more songs in English but the more known they became the more Finish songs they are producing.. well deserved I think. Hahaha yes Monster Truck and Sunflower Dead isn't that special and unique that's true...

Thank you - interesting songs and bands. German irish folk? Yes it is... And i like the finnish one - the language matches very good for Metal. Sunflower Dead is quite interesting too - thanks for this mix of - for me - unknown bands!

Waiting for the new Monster Truck release. I liked a lot the sound of the last album and listening to this single I think they are gonna take a much modern hard rock way. Let's see what happens but I like more a classic sound.
Yes I would prefer more songs like Thundertruck and less like Evolution but let's wait and see :)
