Music - Friday so no whining ....
The weekend is here .... just in time, so chill yourself a glass of wine ...
Amy Winehouse - You Know i'm no Good
Not my cup of tea but she was definitely a talent... and she came to mind whilst I was staring into my wine glass... deciding what music to put in my Friday music slot.
Sauvignon Blanc .... my home tipple of choice
I know this is usually Friday Rock Slot ... but tonight is going to be a chill night...slide into the leap year day tomorrow.
Alicia Keys - Fallin
That was so chill I was sliding ... just sliding ... into a coma !! have to shake up the neighborhood to get the blood circulating to my brain ...
Those two birds got me thinking about a bird of a different feather ....
Crank it up .... forget chill.... rock and roll thrill
Budgie - Breadfan
Budgie were a Welsh heavy metal band from Cardiff. They are described by author Garry Sharpe-Young as one of the earliest heavy metal bands and a seminal influence to many acts of that scene, with fast, heavy rock being played as early as 1971. The band has been noted as "among the heaviest metal of its day"

Budgie - Panzer Division Destroyed
So which genre sets you up for the weekend? Comments appreciated below
As always .... thanks for stopping by.
I do like Amy a lot! So thanks for the share :)
That said, I also like this one a lot...
When I started listening to this it was sooooo slow that I thought 'uh uh ..... not my cup of tea' ... but I was busy working on a steemit post and left it playing in the background ... around 7 minutes in it suddenly caught my attention with some instrument (almost sounds like a moog synthesizer???) ... anyway I actively listened and she definitely grew on me. And those are usually the better artists the ones that you 'develop' a taste for rather than those catchy tunes you like straight off. It took at least TWENTY years for Tom Waits to grow on me {grin}
Thanks for the support and stopping by !! Appreciated.
