Original song 'Water on the Rocks' - Video&lyrics

This song is about the excitement of starting a new relationship. A couple summers ago I wrote the song after a hiking date with someone new, but soon after that I found out the guy was a jerk....but at least I got a fanciful song out of it!

The setting of the song/date was a local hiking trail called Cape Split in NS Canada. It has a secret trail down a cliff to a beach where people often find amethysts.

The song was written to be a duet, but I ended up singing both parts, and now like it that way.
