I deleted it because I don't want to turn it into a political thing, suffice it to say that I'm not easily fooled by information deliberately left out when it comes to oil, where it's located, and who controls it.
In general, all the land in SA was owned by roughly 60 families and I expect this is still somewhat true today. Combine this with oil, mineral wealth and a struggle for dominance elsewhere, and there is a formula for violence.
You are right about outlining the purpose of these posts in the introduction. This initiative won't be enough, but in terms of moral support it's a nice boost as the media, at least in my neck of the woods, has largely ignored the situation in Venezuela, favoring reports on Trump's latest Tweets, Kim Kardashian's behind and the latest political approval ratings.
I'll continue these posts for a bit and donate proceeds; it's all I can do.
I transferred 0.340 SBD to Magdalena earlier today and there are 3 other folks I could transfer to. Yes there are lots of folks from Venezuela on Steemit, but to find them you have to start with 1 and find the others through the comment section. You could also search #venezuela.
There was a guy who used SBD to provide free breakfast, but he hasn't been active for a bit, so I have no idea what's going on with him (@freddy0274). In the end we don't know who we're supporting unless I find some of my old friends, but I doubt they are on Steemit.
Yeah, she said so in some earlier posts, but some of her food blogs already tipped me off. The first post I saw was on local plants and their uses and I knew the photographs showed a familiar environment so I dug a little deeper. Thanks for paying her a visit. She didn't ask for it, but if she doesn't need the donations there is always someone else who does; I'll leave it up to her.
Tomorrow I'll do another Old Horse post in the evening as I have a movie shoot in the am.

How much are you making on them? It can't just be that you only donate from these few votes here?
(I figured as much about the delete.)There is more regards this business I can say, here, too.
But what Venezuelans can we hope to know? Are they allowed on Steemit? Are there any here?

Magdalena I already visited with my 1 cent. Good to hear she is Venezuelan (was not clear). You really lend respecting every little deed a new weight.

Happy shooting!
