I made this mandolin tailpiece using offcuts from a mandolin which is made from offcuts!

This is part of a very special carved mandolin I am building entirely from offcuts scavenged from various carpenters of Galilee.

Oh yes.. so it is. It took me hours to carve it though so I think a chair sized one would be a lot of work. That bubinga wood is very hard
