RE: Original Song 'Late Night' - Video/Lyrics

I'm glad to help you :) As Steem offers so many features, it can be quite overwhelming for beginners, but it all makes sense after working with it for some time. The reward is that one can earn quite well by spending time on here.

You didn't ask yet, but here comes your next lesson:

As you've seen, we earn STEEM and partially SBD with our posts. After claiming your rewards, half of them will go into your Account Balance. The other half automatically goes into your Steem Power (SP). The Account Balance shows your liquid STEEM balance and it can be used for different purposes. For example, for transferring STEEM/SBD to other users or your exchange account (Binance, Bittrex, etc.), for powering up your account (increasing SP) or moving it to your Savings Balance.

SBD can be used to buy STEEM in the Internal Market (on SteemWorld the 'Orders' tab on the left). With your current SBD balance you can get 53.173 STEEM:

To sell your SBD for STEEM just go to 'Orders', click on '<< Lowest Ask', then on '<< Available SBD' and finally on the 'Buy STEEM' button.

If you want to further increase your power, you can always do that by clicking on the 'Power Up...' button in the 'Balances' tab. If you currently don't plan to cash out your balance, I would recommend to do this, because you will earn more Curation Rewards after increasing your SP.

Withdrawing STEEM/SBD from the Savings Balance takes 3 days to finish. After 3 days the withdrawn amount will be back in your 'Account Balance'. I don't use the Savings Balance, because I prefer to put it directly into my SP to increase my Curation Rewards.

Powering down (SP -> STEEM) currently takes 13 weeks. Once a Power Down has been started, one receives 1/13 of the powered down amount each week. The SP will then again appear as STEEM in the Account Balance and can no longer be used for voting. So basically, the powered up STEEM (SP) is also kind of a Savings Balance. The difference is that it can be used for voting (earning Curation Rewards) and it takes longer to fully cash out.

I hope this helps :)

This is great @steemchiller ! Thank you so much for explaining this to me, it makes a lot more sense now. Hmm I'll probably use some steem to power up and some to save. It's a really neat system from what I can understand so far.
I really appreciate your help :)
Hope you're having a great day!
Cheers,
Tawnie
