Feedbands - Monthly Indie Vinyl Releases

I recently made a new friend who started this awesome platform for indie musicians. I'm inspired to share it as I've wanted to do some similar for a long time (but for other types of artists).

Feedbands is a place where musicians can post their music and find an audience, but there is a twist. If the subscribers of the site enjoy their work musicians have a good chance at getting paid to have a vinyl printed for them!

Heres a short description from their website:

Feedbands is a crowdsourced record label whose members collectively determine which artists we should make vinyl release offers to. When we release an artist on vinyl, they get paid in cash and records and they also keep all the rights to their music. We press the records and send them to our members all over the world. We only ever release first pressings, meaning the records we release on vinyl have never been on vinyl before.

I love this use of crowd sourcing to make something possible for artists and collectors which might not happen any other way.
