Hello Steemians! I decided to give you a track with some vocals, finally. A Nashville based songwriter, named Paul Gordon, has been working with the producer/drummer I've been working with (Pino Squillace), and he's very talented. He came to us one day with the lyrics and general melody for this song titled "Domesticated." I was tasked with creating the entire chord progression of the song, and also had a huge hand in the arrangement; along with Pino.

I loved this song from the beginning, as it talks about having your true self and creativity stifled by society, which is a strong theme in my life. The creation process was very interesting because it started as a Rock/Reggae song, and eventually morphed into a Latin feel. This was my first Latin recording, and I got to use guitar styles that I haven't had a chance to use since I learned them in college. So much fun!

We were all very happy and impressed with the outcome from the first day, which was a recording of the vocal, drums, and acoustic guitar. The other musicians then recorded over that, and I think they nailed it too. Please comment and let me know how you feel!
