R.I.P Dustin Segura

Today is the birth date of a dear cousin that passed away in 1998. He was a cousin by blood, but he was a best friend and thought of him as my own brother, and at times, my own twin brother. He passed a month after his 18th birthday.

His death deeply affected my choices and my entire life. He gave me hope, he taught me braveness, he showed me sympathy.

He also inspired music in me. I wrote a few tracks about or at least mentioning him, the character.

The first track was about his funeral, and how I felt, and how those in my situation can climb out of the dark pit.

The other track was an idea I had because I could only dream of him to share memories. So I remade "Sleepwalk" by Santo and Johnny.
