Before we get this post crackin, I just want to give a shoutout to Shakazula for making dope content. He doesn't know I'm posting about him, we have never spoken, but he's cool so ya'll should check him out.
I first found Shakazula chopping up samples on his Maschine MK3, dropping that boombap hip hop sound from Slovenia. His Instagram and Steemit Posts are full of finger drumming videos, if you are unfamiliar with finger drumming, it's very difficult. Basically, using your sampler or midi device of choice, you press every button to trigger the samples in time rather than just hitting play and letting the midi notes provide the show. If that doesn’t sound impressive, next time you are making a track, toggle off the quantization before you start your session and try not to cry.

Some other finger drummers include Stro Elliot from the Legendary Roots Crew, AraabMuzik, and David "Fingers" Haynes. If you are inspired or wanting to improve your skills to take on Shakazula the Steemit KING of Fingerdrumming, you should check out Melodics where they teach how it's done and how to keep the groove. Shakazula has a lesson on the Melodics website (that's how fucking dope he is), so you can learn directly from him.
My favorite part of Shakazula's Instagram is that he goes outside. He has videos of him snowboarding, walking through the woods, and playing with animals. @Shakazula, I recommend you come take part in the Steemit Music League challenges. It would be a great way to display your music, and your unique style would be greatly appreciated!
