Ujo Music is using the Ethereum blockchain to give content creators control over their proceeds. This is a huge potential change for the music business. Now, like the banking industry, there are many "steps" money has to take to get to the author of the material. Each "step" includes a fee (e.g. publisher, distributor, etc). Ujo Music allows artists to publish, license and and be compensated for their work using Ethereum.
