Life on the Road - A Musical Journey #7 - Azambuja
Hello my Steemian friends today i am going to talk about my road trip to Azambuja to play with Virgul.
This time i traveled from Algarve to Azambuja a small town in the center of Portugal.
I will leave some pictures for you guys to take a look at the city and the concert.
Azambuja is a city with bull fight tradition and as a special kind of fearless man called the "Forcados" this men go face to face with a 600kg bull with nothing but their courage and their bodies , no weapons , no armour and no horses... This is pure courage.
I honestly hate animals being hurt in bull fights but i have to admit that i love to watch the Forcados going in to the arena to face the bull empty handed!!!
Azambuja was a place where the portuguese King and Queen went for a rest and there is still a beautiful palace (unfortunately abandoned).
We played in the Azambuja fest for 10000 people and the concert was great.
