So, I don't think I've ever shared this video here because, quite frankly, it's a bit embarrassing on many levels. It is from 2009, made it entirely by myself, and you can tell it. Because it sucks kinda.

I am very proud of the spider shots (she was building her web in front of the full moon in September) and the little trailer in the woods, which is one that I have been in a thousand times and I love and adore it, and the day I was filming it , I was standing right beside my grandfather, who was telling stories to me and my daughter.

This was just before the giant widescreen youtube videos were becoming this big huge thing and so recording at this size/ratio didn't seem like a bad thing at the time.

Anyway. This song is called "Angel in Hell" It is about friendship and love, in a warped and twisted kind of way. Stuff in my head. This is the only time I've ever recorded myself lip syncing for a video. I actually was really singing but it was weird. This video is weird. I share it as a piece of my past, long gone.

Angel flew down
to a tiny house
on the edge of Hell

Ain't no garage
nor a swimming pool
just a sad old friend
who thinks he's cool

Angel knocks twice,
she says, "Let me in."
And then his withered old face says,
"Where've you been?"

She says, "Hello. Aren't you tired of this?
Tired of being here in the dark like this?"

And he says, "No. I don't miss the Light.
I don't need a thing. Can you stay tonight?"

And she says, "No. I can't stay the night.
Just an hour or two to chase this blue."

This blue..

He said, "That's fine. You can stay awhile.
But I'm warning you, I can't fix your blue."

Your blue..

And they sat down in that tiny house
making crazy eyes to pass the time.
