Nothing that interesting about Andorra itself, but a good location to start from if one is looking for places that aren't particularly hot in the summer and aren't overrun with tourists. Next on my checklist would be Serbia and Croatia, but there language would be more of a problem for me. Anything based in Latin would give me a starting point I could build from, except French maybe, ha ha. Staying clear of the Rat race and climate would be the motivation for me.

I never looked into Picasso's history, I just never got his paintings and never understood what the big deal was. I'd much rather look at a Georgia O'Keeffe. As a kid I was regularly exposed to the Cobra collection in Venezuela (Copenhagen, Brussels, Amsterdam ~ Karel Appel, Corneille and the likes) but never found much of interest there either. Maybe it was impression overload or that Karel Appel and Ayacas somehow didn't mix well for me at the time. Of course seeing the real thing up close will leave a very different impression, in that I had a similar experience viewing Jopie Huisman's paintings.

Did anything work out for you in that border dispute?
I think even Meester Visser gave up since he retired from refereeing neighbors (in public anyway). I sometimes go back to a fond memory of having 10 acres and a creek, but also realize that the isolation such a property brings can be too much. It's a bit of a catch 22...
